The season end has fast approached and its that time of year when we need to start to plan and look towards next season.
Attached is the form to nominate people for the 2020 Board of Control, please remember that Trevor is standing down so there is at least one vacancy, in order to be eligible, you must be a driver or a registered associate member.
Also attached is the nomination form for rule changes, please ensure that you give as much information as possible which will help other teams to come to an informed decision and also allow them to do their own investigations prior to the AGM. If you have any substantiated data to back up a proposal then please include it.
Under the BSCDA association rules, we have to have the rule changes and BoC proposals in 50 days prior to the AGM so time is not on our side and this puts us right in the middle of Christmas period (which is not ideal), We have sought permission from the BSCDA to reduce this time to allow us to hold the AGM in early December of which they have granted but this does mean that we will have to hold it on a week night due to availability of teams and venues due to the Christmas period. We do wish to have any rule changes concluded as early as possible after the season end to allow teams to start work on car refurbishments prior to next seasons racing.
