After an on track incident involving Chris Fort and Ashley Boam at Northampton on 30th July, the V8 Board of Control disciplinary panel met prior to the F1 meeting at Coventry on 5th Aug.
Chris Fort was found guilty of deliberately fencing an opponent and was banned for 6 meetings with 4 suspended. The ban was subsequently quashed on appeal over a technicality following a second disciplinary on Friday 11th Aug.
Chris Fort is free to race his V8 and appeared at Blyton Raceway.
The latest news on Ashley is that he is still unable to work with a swollen shoulder causing considerable pain. He is currently assessing his future in Hotstox.
