Added 25th Feb. News from the Radforth camp is that a 3rd member of the family is to grace the raceways this year. Bob Radforth will be using the car that both Carl & Marc have used previously albeit trimmed & tidied up. Bob also tells us that he is busy with a new transporter which will be ready soon.Following on from the news of a new car from the Stuchbury stable, new steeds are also to appear for Mick Rogers (new shale car) Mark Allen (replacing last years car) & Ashley Boam who is once again relying on the skills of Andy Turner.
Mick as always will be building his new car himself with help from ever present mechanics brother Chris & Rocket Ron. The car is not expected to debut at the start of the season but shouldn't be too far away with the Sheffield Nationals later on in the season in mind. Buckingham's Mark Allen & team are busy with their newie which will be ready in time for the opener on March 28th. The plan was to pass on the old car to one of the mechanics to have a bash in, so we may well see another new driver on track. Ashley's car is a bit of a mystery at the moment. I don't know if it's going to be replacing the car he has, or wether it will become the new tar car relegating the old one to shale. It's due back to Andy Turner's Leeds workshops for finishing off shortly.
