Neil Fry has made initial contact with Standlake Arena promoter Keith Hook with a view to getting the V8's on track at the Oxfordshire oval in 2005. Neil reports that 'A visit will be made to the track at their first meeting in Feb to see if the fence etc is suitable for us. Keith (Hook) has expressed a positive interest in the formula, so initially we are remaining very up beat about Standlake' For those who have not been to the track, it is situated around 10 miles outside of Oxford & is a tight concrete oval with armco crash barrier. It has many domestic formulae but is most notable as a Banger track. More news as soon as I get it !.
