Up to Belle Vue 26th July to accompany the F1 Semi Final meeting for the first time of 2015. With 29 cars in attendance again meaning for two thirds format. Racing for the Belle Vue Bowl and WQ points in the last shale round. The rain had got the better of the track for heat 1, but thankfully getting better as the meeting wore on. Darren Cottrill (575) kept his cool and used his experience to take victory in the first race, despite having the World Champion Stuchbury breathing down his neck in the closing stages. Heat 2 went the way of Jon Brown (288) and heat 3 Steve Jacklin (138); his first victory for 7 or so years since his days in the F1’s, taking a more or less flag to flag victory. The Belle Vue Bowl Final nearly went to another former F1 racer, Garry Townsend (223). In the second half Townsend was clear, but a spin in turn 3 put paid to his chances leaving Brown to take over the running to the flag. European Champion Michael Boswell (328) finishing second and Gary Jackson (423) in another fine shale drive finishing third.
