NOTES FOR THE WORLD FINAL RACES

PRE-MEETING SCRUTINEERING – National MiniStox World Finalists will be scrutineered and placed in Parc Ferme. Obviously once your car has entered Parc Ferme no work can be carried out on your car. Please do not wait until the last minute to be scrutineered, there are many checks to take place and this is a time consuming task.

PARADE LAPS – All World Finalists will take part in a parade prior to your World Final race. You must have a competent parade driver who is wearing presentable overalls. All World Finalists will enter the track in your grid position; you will be placed in grid order in the pits. Please co-operate with pit staff, we cannot afford to waste time waiting.
Once your parade lap is complete and you are in your grid position please get strapped in and ready to race as soon as possible. All parade drivers must leave via the pit gate.

WORLD FINAL RACE –With the exception of the World Wide Rebellion, if a red flag is necessary within the first three laps of the World Final and it is deemed a complete restart then upon the announcement from the Steward (AND NOT BEFORE) two mechanics per car will be allowed on track with hand tools only to assist their driver. There will be a ten minute countdown from the last car being placed on the centre green or safe area. No cars will be allowed off the track. No re-fuelling will take place. If any team disobeys these very simple rules their driver will be disqualified. All mechanics must exit the track via the pit gate.

IF YOU ARE NOT STRAPPED IN AND ARE STILL WORKING ON THE CAR WHEN THE COUNTDOWN TIMER HITS 0 THEN YOU WILL BE PUT ON THE MIDDLE.

TROPHY PRESENTATIONS – Trophy presentations will take place once the race is complete for the top three drivers. The top three cars do not leave the track until advised to do so by the Meeting Steward. The meeting scrutineer will advise where the top three should go for post race scrutineering. Do not go back to your race transporters, go directly to the post race scrutineering area.

Everyone at Buxton Raceway are working hard to make this a day to remember, please promote this meeting to friends, family and race fans and finally may the best driver win.
